Modern Cardiff Bay 1Bedroom Apartment

Overall disappointing Positive: Good location Negative: Overall our stay was quite disappointing. The information of how to check in and how to collect the keys was way too over complicated. There were just too many stages and online sections to follow easily. Within the apartment there were multiple minor issues, for example only 2 dining chairs and a small breakfast table when we had three guests; the kitchen was sparsely equipped; the toilet cistern was faulty for the entire stay. There were several other issues too. The host was very helpful and did refund around 30% of the cost of our stay but in the end it wasn’t the best experience. One or two minor issues would have been ok, but the accumulation of issues just took the gloss off the stay

Well situated for Cardiff bay , offering basic amenities for a few nights stay . Positive: Situated within walking distance of Cardiff bay were we attended graduation ceremony . Basic amenities available for a couple nights stay. Bath and shower both available Negative: Windows in lounge were very dirty.

Unfortunate booking Positive: I couldn't say anything about the place. I booked but did not stay there. Negative: At the start they were not really responding to requests on the time that we're planning to check in. Made a couple of requests for an earlier check in time but they did not respond to any of it. They were just keen for me to sign the "contract" for the deposit and pay for it which costs more than the overnight stay. Understandable. But, they cancelled the booking the night before the arrival which was very disappointing. It was late that night when they told me to wait for an hour for update but did not update me after an hour. Had to call Booking.com for help which took more than an hour and that made me stay awake to settle things and find another place to stay up to 1am. The cancellation caused me a lot of money because I had to book on the spot in which the prices are doubled already. And booking.com did not compensate me properly. If the reason for their very late cancellation is real, can't really blame them but it was really disappointing and frustrating because they were very late in informing. Everything was too late. They should also compensate if they cancel the booking late because the prices double up. I hope that this won't happen again and that they should learn something. They should feel for their customers.

A Comfortable Weekend with Easy Access to Cardiff and area. Positive: Gated community near Cardiff Bay convenient for the city centre. Good kitchen facilities & ample refrigerator. Underfloor hearing in the bathroom. Comfortable stay. Own parking space. Fresh sea breezes!

Positive: Was great to have free secure parking! The apartment was immaculate and we'll equipped. Only 10 minute walk to Cardiff Bay.
